Mission Beach is a large, wide open beach. As a matter of fact, it’s perfect for may different activities. Not only is it nice for sun bathing, it has space for surfing and boogie boarding. Equally important, Mission Beach usually has life guards on duty. Additionally, the Mission Beach neighborhood is lined with shops and restaurants and it even has a small amusement park.



Belmont Park
Belmont Park is an old school amusement park pretty much within walking distance from any place on Mission Beach. Also, It’s free to get in and you only pay for the attractions and food. The kids will love it for sure. As an adult, I had a good time as well. Additionally, It has shopping, food, zip lining, laser tag, you name it. It’s probably best known for The Big Dipper, built in 1927 is roller coaster on a half-mile wooden track. It’s a super fast and has a 70 foot drop. We had a great time on the ride. All things considered, if kids are involved, Belmont Park is a must do.
