It was a fun, sandy and uncrowded beach. The waves were a little harsh at times, but we had a blast. The beach park, full of pine trees, has an abundance of shade which gave us a chance to get out of the bright sun when needed. It has bathrooms and showers and plenty of picnic tables. Although we did not camp out, It seemed to be a well liked camping site. It’s my understanding, in order to camp out, you need a permit. If that sounds like something you want to do, be sure to look into it.
